LG OLED C6 UK Pre-Orders Expected Soon — New 2026 OLED TV Lands This Month

LG’s 2026 OLED lineup is nearly here. The LG OLED evo C6 has gone on pre-order in the US, and UK availability is expected to follow within weeks — possibly days. If you’ve been holding off on a new TV, this is the launch to watch.

The C6 replaces last year’s highly regarded C5, and LG isn’t asking buyers to pay more for the upgrade. US pricing has held steady compared to the C5 generation, with the 42-inch model starting at $1,399 and the 55-inch at $1,999. UK pricing has not yet been confirmed by LG UK, but based on last year’s pricing pattern, the 55-inch C6 is expected to land around the £1,499–£1,599 mark when UK listings go live (LG UK listing — unconfirmed). We’ll update this article the moment official GBP pricing is published.

What’s New on the LG C6

The headline upgrade this year is panel technology — and it’s not the same story across every screen size, which matters when you’re deciding which C6 to buy.

The 77-inch and 83-inch C6 models get LG’s new Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 OLED panel, the same advanced display structure found across the G6 flagship range. LG brands this as Hyper Radiant Colour Technology, and it delivers a meaningful jump in peak brightness while keeping the near-perfect contrast OLED is known for. If you’re buying a 77-inch or larger, you’re getting genuinely flagship-tier panel technology at a mid-range price.

The smaller C6 sizes — 42, 48, 55, and 65 inch — use a WOLED panel with Brightness Booster Standard. Still excellent, still well ahead of most LCD competition, but without the Tandem upgrade. That distinction is worth understanding before you pick your size.

Across the full C6 range, LG has fitted the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 — a chip with a 50% faster CPU and 70% faster GPU than the previous generation, according to LG. The practical effect is smoother upscaling, faster smart TV navigation, and improved AI picture processing. Refresh rates have also stepped up to 165Hz on the C6, compared to 144Hz on the C5. For gaming on a large screen, that extra headroom is a genuine improvement.

The C6 supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium out of the box, and all models ship with webOS 26. That brings Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot integration to the platform — LG’s push into AI assistant functionality that will appeal to some buyers and mean nothing to others.

UK Size and Pricing Breakdown

LG OLED C6 UK — Where to Pre-Order

UK retailer listings are not yet live at the time of writing. LG has historically launched UK pre-orders at Currys and John Lewis within days of the US going live, so both should be stocking the full C6 range shortly. LG’s own UK store is also expected to carry every size from launch.

In the US, LG is offering early buyer incentives including complimentary wall mounting setup and soundbar bundle discounts. It’s worth checking whether similar promotions carry over to UK retail when pre-orders open — LG UK has run comparable launch deals in previous years.

The 48-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch C6 models are expected to ship by late March 2026 in the US. The 42-inch and the larger 77-inch and 83-inch models follow slightly later in April. UK shipping windows should align closely, though retailer stock allocations can vary.

Is the LG C6 Worth Buying in 2026?

For most buyers, yes. The C6 has consistently been one of the best-value OLED televisions available in the UK, and the 2026 model strengthens that position. The C5 was already excellent; the C6 adds a meaningfully faster processor, higher refresh rates, and a genuine panel step-up on the two largest sizes.

If you’re currently watching on a C3 or older LG OLED, the jump will be substantial regardless of which size you choose. C4 owners have a harder call — the processor and refresh rate improvements are real, but incremental. C5 owners should only consider upgrading if they’re specifically targeting the 77-inch or 83-inch C6, where the Tandem 2.0 panel is a meaningful difference.

For first-time OLED buyers comparing the C6 against Samsung’s QD-OLED range or Sony’s Bravia 8 series, the C6 will typically land at a more competitive UK price point once retailer promotions kick in — and LG’s gaming feature set remains one of the strongest in the category.

We’ll update this article as soon as UK pricing and retailer listings are confirmed at Currys, John Lewis, or LG’s own store.
